New primary care center opens on Buffalo's West Side

Catholic Health has announced the opening of its Sisters Health Center D'Youville.

The 11,000-sq.-ft. facility at 301 Connecticut St. will provide primary health care especially for Buffalo's West Side, Elmwood Village and Allentown residents, by Dr. Maria Orellana.

The Health Center will have family medical services, including annual physicals for children, adolescents and adults; women's services; sick and well-child visits; routine health screenings; vaccinations; medical management for chronic medical conditions; and referrals for specialty care.

It will also offer clinical training opportunities for D'Youville College healthcare students, working with Catholic Health medical professionals as part of D'Youville's Health Professions Hub.

Grand opening ceremonies will take place later this month. More information is available at 862-2572.
