The Cuomo Administration has announced 14 new community-based pop-up vaccination sites will begin operating across the state over the coming week, with the aim of vaccinating more than 4,200 residents.
Since mid-January, more than 160 community-based pop-up sites administered more than 62,500 first doses of the COVID-19 vaccine. As has been the case with previous pop-up sites, these sites will be re-established in three weeks to administer second doses.
Vaccinations are by appointment only and walk-ins are not allowed.
One of the state sites will be in Buffalo, at Durham Memorial Outreach Center, 200 East Eagle St., on Saturday 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
The state also announced that for the first time, more than 200,000 COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered over a 24-hour period across New York. The governor said 202,123 doses were administered statewide in the last 24 hours and more than 1 million doses have been administered over the past seven days.
