Drug dropoff April 30 in West Seneca

Drug Enforcement Administration

Got drugs? Want to get rid of them - safely? West Seneca Police and the Drug Enforcement Administration are giving the public an opportunity to rid their homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused and unwanted prescription drugs. People can bring their pills for disposal to 4620 Seneca Street in West Seneca on April 30 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Over the counter drugs will be accepted. Liquids, needles or sharps cannot be accepted, only pills or patches.

The service is free and anonymous, no questions asked. The DEA says disposing of unwanted drugs helps prevent pill abuse and theft.
