Kenmore West HS shuttered due to COVID-19

Kenmore West HIgh School

The Kenmore-Town of Tonawanda School District has shut down access to Kenmore West High School due to COVID-19 concerns.

District officials say a student who went into the building Tuesday from 10:42 a.m.-10:48 a.m. to get school items for in-home use had been exposed to the coronavirus from a customer at their place of employment.

That student is now under quarantine and has become symptomatic. The student will be tested for the virus.

As a precaution, the school is no longer accessible for students, teachers and staff wishing to get items.
