Voters were in an approving mood during Tuesday's school district elections. All budgets passed at area school districts, some by landslide margins.
In Ken-Ton, "yes" votes outnumbered "no" votes by more than four to one. The final totals: "yes" votes, 1,412; "no" votes, 298.
Approval was widespread for the $60 million spending plan for the Amherst district where 471 of the 560 votes fell in the "yes" category.
The $125 million budget vote in West Seneca was slightly closer. "Yes" votes outweighed "no" votes, 1,159 to 592.
