In documents submitted to the Zoning Board by Schneider Architectural Services, the all-girls private high school on Cleveland Avenue would add a gym with regulation-sized courts and seating to watch sporting events, plus a new fitness and wellness center on the ground floor for school teams and physical education classes.

New fencing and landscaping would be completed along the school's Auburn Avenue side. A future phase of the project would be to build a new exterior courtyard for basketball and four square courts, playground equipment, a vegetable garden and other outdoor learning areas.

The school says there would be no additional noise,, vibration or lighting in the neighborhood because of the addition.

The public hearing will be held in Common Council chambers beginning at 2 p.m. The project was before the Buffalo Planning Board Monday and the school hopes the full Common Council will discuss it Oct. 30.
