The old C.W. Miller Livery Stable will be converted into Emerson Two.

The new school is located in the historic C.W. Miller Livery Stable at 75 West Huron St. in downtown Buffalo and builds upon the success of the existing Emerson School of Hospitality at 70 West Chippewa St. The new school - usually called Emerson Two - will expand opportunities for students in the growing hospitality, sports management and hotel management industry.

The project is well over a year behind schedule, but a lease deal with hotelier Mark Croce and McGuire Development was approved last month - a big step forward. School officials last said they hoped to open the new school - which is next door to Croce's Curtiss Hotel - in January 2020.
