Salamanca School administrator placed on leave for allegations relating to ‘conduct’

An administrator has been placed on leave in the Salamanca City Central School District. The information is posted in an on-line in a news release dated January 31.

The news release states the District received “notice of allegations” relating to the “conduct” of one of its administrator's. The person was placed on leave immediately. 

The District said it is currently working with counsel and law enforcement that are conducting an investigation into the matter.

Due to that investigation, the District said it cannot comment further on the situation.  But the district noted that it takes any allegations relating to a district employee "extremely seriously".

The following is the full news released issued by the district and signed by the city superintendent Robert Breidenstein.

On Wednesday, January 31, 2018, the District received notice of allegations relating to the conduct of one of its District administrators. The District takes any allegations relating to a District employee extremely seriously. The District responded immediately by placing the administrator on leave and is currently working with counsel and law enforcement, who are investigating these allegations.

At this time, the District cannot comment further regarding the administrator, the allegations, or the investigation being conducted by law enforcement and counsel as it's ongoing.
