New York State Education Commissioner MaryEllen Elia appeared at the BOCES in West Seneca Thursday night. Elia hosted a public hearing on the state's draft of the Every Student Succeeds Act.  WBFO's senior reporter Eileen Buckley says many members of the Buffalo School community came to testify, but others appeared to protest, calling on Commissioner Elia to remove Carl Paladino from the Buffalo Board of Education.
