The Buffalo Public School District is at a crossroads. Next month's school board election has drawn a great deal of attention and could determine the future of schools superintendent Pamela Brown. The Buffalo News recently conducted an extensive survey of more than a dozen candidates, who are vying for three at large seats. As part of our Focus on Education reporting, WBFO's senior reporter Eileen Buckley discussed the survey with Buffalo News education reporter Mary Pasciak, who helped compile an extensive online voter guide to help inform city voters about the candidates.
You can check out the survey at the Buffalo News. WBFO, The Buffalo News and WNED-TV have collaborated to bring you interviews with all the candidates who will be appear on the May 6 Buffalo Board of Education ballot. The program airs Friday, May 2 at 8 p.m. on WNED.
