The U.S. Marshals Service from the Western District of New York has joined in the search for a missing baby and her mother, who is considered a fugitive.

Adrienne Grace Marean, 35, was charged by Bridgeport West Virginia police on March 7 with violating a Harrison County West Virginia Family Court Order to transfer custody of a minor child in February, and she is believed to have fled that area with the child.

Reports that they may be in the Dunkirk-Fredonia area has brought local Marshals into the search.

Marean is described as a white female, about 5' 7" tall, weighing about 165 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. The child, Iris Chidester, is eleven months old, also with brown hair and brown eyes.

Marean is believed to be driving a gray Toyota Prius with New York license plate JJR1907.

Anyone with information can call the U.S. Marshals Service at (304) 623-0486 or call 911 for immediate assistance.
