Erie County has announced new five-year contract agreements with two bargaining units representing law enforcement workers.

They are the Civil Service Employees Association Corrections Unit and the Erie County Sheriff's PBA Unit.

The new collective bargaining agreements will affect 232 workers in the CSEA unit and 150 members of the Sheriff's PBA through the end of 2026.

The agreements includes a $1-per-hour shift differential for workers on hard-to-fill shifts and salary increases of 17% over five years for CSEA workers and 17.5% for the PBA employees.

There were also other enhancements made in the new contracts.
