More video of the June 4, 2020 shoving incident by two Buffalo Police officers of protester Martin Gugino, 75, has been publicly released.

The Buffalo News obtained 16 hours of Buffalo Police bodycam video from that evening, which they requested under the state's Freedom of Information Law.

A video taken by WBFO Reporter Mike Desmond at the scene was posted on Twitter that evening and, to date, more than 85.2 million views of that video have been recorded.

The police videos include three different bodycam views and show Gugino being shoved by officers, falling backwards and hitting his head on the pavement in front of City Hall. He suffered a fractured skull.

A grand jury last month declined to indict officers Robert McCabe and Aaron Torgalski in the incident. Gugino's attorneys have filed a federal civil rights lawsuit against the city and members of the Buffalo Police Department.

Mark Wozniak, WBFO's local All Things Considered host, has been at WBFO since mid-1978.
