6 charged in murder of 3 people last September

Buffalo Police
Buffalo Police Capt. Jeff Rinaldo released surveillance video from a private resident showing two suspects with a child leaving the scene of a burned-out vehicle in September 2019.

Six suspects have been charged in a 24-count federal grand jury indictment in what authorities say is the drug-related deaths of three people in Buffalo last fall.

The U.S. Attorney's Office said the six are accused of conspiring to sell cocaine, heroin, marijuana and fentanyl from residences on Box, Fillmore and Parkridge avenues in Buffalo from 2014-2019.

Two of the defendants, Deandre Wilson and Jariel Cobb, also face charges of murder while engaged in a narcotics conspiracy. The three murders are alleged to have taken place last Sept. 15 or 16.

Two of the bodies were found in a burned-out vehicle behind a warehouse on Tonawanda Street. The victims' three-year-old son was found unharmed a half-mile away on a porch on Potomac Avenue. The third victim was discovered in a fire pit at a Box Avenue address.
