Jamestown Police arrest 2 with large amounts of narcotics

A routine traffic stop in the city of Jamestown Tuesday afternoon led to the seizure of drugs and the arrests of two people on a number of charges.

Jamestown Police say they stopped Rocco Beardsley, 34, on Locust Street, he got out of his car, threw a bag under it and began to run away. He was captured and arrested.

Police seized fentanyl, crystal methamphetamine, cocaine and hydrocodone pills with an estimated street value of $20,000.

That led a Jamestown Police SWAT team to execute a search warrant at a home on West Cowden Place, where they arrested Kylie Reeves, 27, after finding methamphetamine, a large amount of drug paraphernalia and cash.

Also in the house were three children under the age of five. They were turned over to a family member.
