2 suspects charged in Lewiston home invasion shooting

Niagara County Sheriff's Office
Matthew Dubuc (l) and Michael Printup have been charged in Sunday's home invasion.

Law enforcement officials in Niagara County have announced the arrest of two men in connection with a shooting in Lewiston Sunday.

Matthew Dubuc, 24, of Lewiston and Michael Printup, 18, of Niagara Falls have both been charged with felony counts of first degree burglary and first degree assault. Bail was set for $100,000/$200,000 for Dubac, while Printup's bail was set at $10,000/$20,000. They have been remanded to Niagara County Jail.

A homeowner on Mount Hope Road told police that he exchanged gunfire with men during a home invasion. The Niagara County Sheriff originally reported three suspects were taken into custody and a fourth was found dead after a high-speed chase with police.

An investigation is continuing by the Niagara County Sheriff's Office and the Lewiston Police Department.
