A Buffalo man was sentenced to 32 years to life in prison for the 2018 murder of Santana Anderson, a 26-year-old mother of two from Buffalo.
Lemuele Jackson, 32, was sentenced on Friday on multiple charges, including one count of second-degree murder.
According to prosecutors, Jackson fired shots into a crowd of people that were standing outside a Hagen Street residence in Buffalo as part of an altercation.
He killed Anderson and injured another victim, identified as a 36-year-old woman.
Jackson was convicted of the crime in October as part of a second trial -- his first trial had been declared a mistrial.
