Death of Buffalo infant ruled a homicide

The death of a Buffalo infant last September has been ruled a homicide. The Erie County Medical Examiner's Office has determined 7-month-old King Jordan died from blunt force injuries to his head and neck.

Buffalo Police were called to a residence on Grote Street on Sept. 20 by a person who reported his son was not breathing. The boy was rushed to Oishei Children's Hospital, where he died two days later.

Chief of Detectives Dennis Richards to The Buffalo News the child died as a result of shaken baby syndrome. No arrests have been made. The investigation continues.
