On Friday, an Orchard Park jury found Erie County sheriff's deputy Kenneth Achtyl guilty of reckless assault and other charges related to his use of force when arresting Nicolas Belsito at a Buffalo Bills game in December 2017. A conviction of a law enforcement officer is unusual and it brought harsh criticism of the District Attorney's Office from the deputy union. WBFO's Howard Riedel talked about it with Matthew Spina, who covered the trial every day for The Buffalo News.
