Woman killed in Town of Tonawanda triple shooting identified

Facebook

Town of Tonawanda Police have identified the deceased victim in Tuesday's triple shooting.

Police say the deceased woman was Danielle Cretacci, 31, formerly a resident of Herkimer Street on Buffalo's West Side.  She was fatally shot at 111 Ebling Ave. in the town.

Also shot and wounded were her eleven- and eight-year-old daughters, who were listed in stable condition Wednesday. Their names were not released by police.

Police say there is no danger to the public because the shooting was targeted. No arrests have been made to this point, and police are not releasing any further information as they continue what they are calling "a complicated, sensitive investigation."

However, they are asking anyone with information about the shooting to call the Town of Tonawanda Confidential Tip Line at 879-6606.
