Lewiston doctor pleads guilty to sexual act with minor

A Lewiston doctor has pleaded guilty to engaging in oral sexual conduct with a 17-year-old patient during a medical appointment.

Robert Bull, 64, pleaded guilty to an attempted criminal sexual act in the third degree Monday in Niagara Falls City Court before Judge James Faso.

The charge stems from an incident that occurred March 27 at the Golisano Center for Community Health at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center.

Niagara County District Attorney Caroline Wojtaszek said the "plea comes with the consent of the victim, and will require Bull to relinquish his license to practice medicine with the State of New York and register under the Sex Offender Registration Act.”

According to his profile in U.S. News & World Report, Bull is a family medicine practitioner with more than 20 years experience. He received his his medical degree from Universidad Central del Este Facultad de Medicina in the Dominican Republic and he is affilitaed with St. Mary's Hospital and Health Center, as well as NFMMC.

Bull is scheduled for sentencing on Sept. 10.
