Reward upped to $32,500 for fatal shooting arrest

A reward of up to $32,500 is now being offered for information leading to the arrest of the person responsible for the shooting death of 12-year-old Badraldeen Mohamad Elwaseem.

The FBI is now offering up to $25,000, while Crimestoppers is offering up to $7,500.

Elwaseem was shot and killed on April 6 by a stray bullet. The youngster was in the kitchen of his William Street apartment in Buffalo around 8:30 p.m. when the bullet struck him in the head.

A 22-year-old man was also wounded in the gunfire that took place that evening.
