A Lockport man has pleaded guilty to five counts of sex trafficking.
The U.S. Attorney's office reports that Oliver Kimmons, 51, is now facing a mandatory minimum sentence of 15 years in prison, a maximum of life and a $250,000 fine.
Prosecutors say over the course of three years, Kimmons solicited young and opiate-addicted women to have sex with paying customers in exchange for drugs. He drove the women to Western New York farms, dairies and Indian reservations to perform sex acts for money.
The plea is the result of an investigation by the Niagara County Sherriff’s Office and the Niagara County Drug Task Force, the Erie County Sherriff’s Office, the Lockport Police Department, the New York Field Division of the Drug Enforcement Administration and Homeland Security Investigations.
Sentencing is scheduled for Aug. 26 before U.S. District Judge Lawrence Vilardo.
