Jamestown couple facing 20 years in prison for drug, gun charges

A Jamestown couple has been arrested on multiple drug and gun charges.

Douglas Beardsley, 33, and Camille Lopez, 18, have been charged with possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, possession of a firearm during a drug trafficking crime and possession of stolen firearms. Beardsley also faces a charge of being a felon in possession of a firearm.

The firearms, drugs and drug paraphernalia were seized after a search warrant was executed at their residence at 70 Forest Ave. in Jamestown. Authorities say two of the firearms recovered had been stolen in the Town of Ellicott in January.

If convicted on all charges, the couple faces up to 20 years in prison and a $1 million fine.
