Wrong-way driver on the Kensington Expressway arrested

Buffalo Police have made an arrest in connection with a head-on collision that authorities say resulted from driving the wrong way on the Kensington Expressway.

The crash happened Oct. 15, at about 11:30 p.m. on the inbound 33 near the Locust Street off ramp.

Buffalo Police accident investigators have arrested Rodney Borden Jr., 30, and charged him with aggravated vehicular assault, aggravated DWI, reckless driving, imprudent speed and other charges. Investigators say Borden's blood alcohol content 0.29, more than three times the legal limit.

The victim, a 28-year-old female driving the other vehicle, has been released from Erie County Medical Center after being treated for multiple injuries.
