Two Buffalo men accused of murdering family members

Two Buffalo men are due back in court Friday on murder charges.

Erie County District Attorney John Flynn says Alec Swiderski, 30, has been arrested in the apparent bludgeoning of his 74-year-old grandmother. She was found dead in her South Buffalo home during a welfare check by police.

Flynn says Gus Oldham, 38, also has been arrested on murder charges. He is accused in the fatal shooting of his 57-year-old mother, who police found dead during a welfare check at the home the mother and son shared.

Psychiatric exams have been ordered on both suspects.
