Buffalo Police say two more men were struck by gunfire on Grape Street, in the city's Fruit Belt, Thursday about 9:30 p.m. in what appears to be a "targeted" attack.
Police say both of the injured men are in their mid-20s and were transported to Erie County Medical Center. One is listed in stable condition, the other in serious condition.
Police say they immediately increased patrols in and around the Grape Street area following this latest shooting. They believe it was targeted and connected to the shooting of four people on Grape Street early this month.
Two people - a 17-month-old boy and his 54-year-old grandmother - died in that early-morning attack July 2. Two other men - ages 34 and 48 - were treated at ECMC and released for leg wounds.
