Suspect in I-190 fatal shooting charged with murder

Crime Stoppers

A Buffalo man has been charged with a fatal shooting on I-190.

The Erie County District Attorney's Office says Juan Colon, 22, has been arraigned on one count of murder in the second degree. Authorities allege Colon fatally shot Angel Marcial, 26, of Buffalo as he was driving on the I-190 North near the Niagara Street exit July 9 about 6 p.m.

Colon has been remanded and is scheduled to return to court Thursday for a felony hearing. If convicted on the charge, he faces up to 25 years in prison.
