Victim, suspect identified in fatal I-190 shooting

Crime Stoppers

Police have identified the victim of the vehicle shooting on I-190 Monday evening, as well as the suspect they are searching for.

Angel Marcial, 25, was shot around 6:15 p.m. Monday while driving on the Niagara Thruway near the Niagara Street exit. The shooting disrupted evening commute traffic on the highway, as state police conducted an investigation.

Police say it was a targeted shooting, not a random act.

Marcial was released from prison six months ago after serving a three-year sentence for bribery and selling fentanyl-laced heroin.

Officials say they are looking for Juan Colon, 22, whose last known address was 26 Rosedale Street in Buffalo's Riverside neighborhood. He is believed to have been driving a white 2003 Toyota 4-Runner with New York license plate HYM3229.
