Buffalo Police are investigating a couple of shootings - one fatal - that happened Wednesday eevening.

Police responded to a call about 11:30 p.m. in the first block of Collins Walk in the city's Kenfield neighborhood.

Detectives say a 43-year-old man was struck by gunfire while outside. He was transported by ambulance to Erie County Medical Center, where he was later declared dead.

Police say an 18-year-old Buffalo teen also arrived at ECMC with a gunshot wound just before 11:45 p.m.  Detectives say it appears the shooting occurred in the first block of Victoria Avenue in the city's Central Park neighborhood, but the injury was not life-threatening.

Anyone with information on either shooting is asked to call or text the Buffalo Police Confidential TIPCALL Line at 847-2255.
