An Amherst man has been sentenced to 10 years in prison and 20 years of post-release supervision for having sexual relations with a child.
Leonard Ralston, 23, repeatedly engaged in sexual conduct with a female under the age of 13 over a several-year period. The child reported the abuse to the Amherst Police Department.
Ralston pleaded guilty in Erie County Court in January to a first-degree count of course of conduct against a child. In addition to his court-ordered post-release supervision, Ralston will have to register as a sex offender once released from prison.
