Sheriff looking for help identifying body found in June

The Niagara County Sheriff's Office is looking for help identifying a body found over the summer.

On June 13, deputies responded to the U.S. Coast Guard Station in Youngstown. The Coast Guard had located the body of an unknown man. It also is unknown how long the body had been in the water.

All that is available is his physical description. Authorities describe him as a white man, about 40-60 years old, 6' 1", 152 pounds, straight brown hair that is balding and an old fracture of the fifth right rib.

The man's DNA and fingerprints have been preserved. Anyone with information on the possible identity of this man is asked to contact the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Bureau at 438-3327.
