A University at Buffalo student was assaulted with a knife and robbed on Lisbon Avenue near the UB South campus Thursday at 5:30 p.m.
The University issued a campus-wide alert Thursday night stating that Buffalo Police are investigating the incident. UB Police have posted a special police unit on the South Campus. They've also increased patrols on campus.
Buffalo Police have also increased patrols in the University neighborhood. Police describe the suspect as a black male, with a knife, 5 foot 4 inches tall, wearing a camouflaged jacket with lime-green striping.
