University at Buffalo Police report two women on UB's South Campus were threatened at knife point in an attempted robbery.
Police said it happened around 12:30 p.m. Thursday afternoon in the Parker lot. But UB Police said they have determined that the suspect is no longer on campus. Police said they believe the suspect left campus through backyards on Winspear Avenue.
The information was issued in a campus-wide alert. University Police said they have diverted more resources to the South Campus and notified the Buffalo Police Department to join in the search for the suspect.
Anyone who may have seen the suspect is asked to call University Police at 716-645-2227.
