Niagara Falls man sent to hospital after arrest

New York State Police

A Niagara Falls man becomes unresponsive after getting arrested Saturday afternoon.

Regis Cox of Niagara Falls and Diamond Ublies of Lockport were taken to the State Police Niagara barracks after crack cocaine was discovered in their vehicle during a traffic stop. Cox began vomiting in a trash can and then became unresponsive causing authorities to issue several doses of Narcan. Cox was taken to St. Mary's hospital. A toxicology screening found crack cocaine.

Cox is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance.
