Man beaten in late-night burglary

Police are seeking a suspect in an early morning home invasion in Ashville, N.Y. on Saturday.Three men allegedly broke into a home, bound a male resident in duct tape, and beat him. The suspects, armed with a billy club and machete, fled with valuables from the home.

The victim was taken to WCA Hospital in Jamestown and later transfered to Hamot Medical Center in Erie, Pennsylvania.

Authorities have arrested 22-year-old Robert W. Ellisworth, and an unnamed an unnamed 17-year-old. Their counter-part is still at large. Anyone with information is asked to call the Jamestown Police confidential tip line at (716) 483-8477.
