Eden swim coach accused of 'sexting' teenage girl

An Eden swim coach was arrested Thursday by Village of Hamburg police and charged with inappropriate contact with a minor. Glenn C. Nellis, 41, of East Church Street has been charged with promoting a sexual performance by a child, second-degree disseminating indecent material to a minor and endangering the welfare of a minor.

Nellis allegedly transferred sexually explicit photos of a 16-year-old girl from his cell phone to his computer and allegedly sent a sexually explicit photo of himself to the girl.

Nellis, who is the son of Eden Supervisor Glenn Nellis, had bail set at $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond.
