A convicted child molester was sentenced to the maximum 15 to 30 years in prison Friday in Niagara County Court.Paul Turley, 48, of Dunkirk was convicted of abusing two young girls, his stepdaughter and a stepniece, in North Tonawanda in the mid-90s. One of the girls was four years old at the time the molestation began. The crimes weren't reported to police until 2011. The victims are now 22.
Turley fled to Arizona in January after his trial began. He and his wife Diane were captured nearly a month later and were returned to Niagara County in March.
She faces sentencing after pleading guilty to attempting to hinder prosecution.
