Jurors in the trial of the Buffalo man accused of killing his 10-year-old stepson today watched a graphic police video of the murder scene.

Ali-Mohamad Mohamud is facing a charge of second-degree murder in the death of Abdifatah Mohamud.  Testimony began Monday when the boy's mother and stepbrother took the stand, following opening statements.

Prosecutors say Mohamud stabbed, suffocated, and beat the boy repeatedly with a wooden rolling pin last April in their Guilford Street home.  He allegedly confessed his crime to Buffalo Police.

The Buffalo News reports the jury today was shown a 12-minute video showing Abdi's bloodied and lifeless body in the blood-splattered  basement of the family's Guilford Street home.  The jury was also shown crime scene photos.

The defendant reportedly looked down during portions of the video. Jurors displayed no visible reactions.
