The increasing COVID-19 infection rates have resulted in the re-closing of Regal Cinema theaters in both New York and California.
After being closed during the spring and summer, Regal had resumed operations at 11 theater sites in New York on Oct. 23.
In an email to Regal Crown Club members Wednesday, the company said it will continue to monitor the situation, following public health guidelines, and the progression of the release of new films by movie studios.
In Western New York, Regal operates the Walden Galleria, Quaker Crossing, Elmwood Center, Transit Center and Niagara Stadium theaters.
