Regal movie theaters to reopen July 10

Google Maps

Regal Cinemas has announced plans for the reopening of their theaters starting Friday, July 10.

Reopening plans include a wide range of new health and safety measures based upon guidelines provided from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and other public health organizations.

The plan also includes safety measures based upon feedback received from employees and moviegoers they have deemed most important for their return.

Regal, which operates five area theater complexes, will also provide new contactless payment options and "innovative" sanitizing methods, including electrostatic ‘fogger’ equipment to be used on seats after each movie showing.

Customers will be able to buy movie tickets and refreshments through an app.
