State suspends liquor license of Lockport bar

Google Maps

The New York State Liquor Authority has suspended the liquor license of a Lockport bar, after it violated the state's executive order forbidding on-site food and alcoholic service due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The business is Mr. Quiggley’s Dead Dog Saloon, located at 635 West Ave.

On April 10, Lockport Police said they responded to an altercation at the barand found five individuals, some readily admitting to drinking inside the bar prior to the altercation.

A subsequent violation of the order and a building shutdown order by the Lockport building inspector led to the liquor license suspension.
