Brown also announced Monday that shoppers can park free at meters in those commercial districts on Black Friday, Nov. 29, as well as the period from Dec. 21-Jan. 1. There also will be free parking those dates at city lots located at 198 Allen Street, 301 Bryant Street, 304 West Utica Street and 569 Forest Avenue.

On emore thing to make shopping easier: the city is suspending Winter Parking Restrictions on bus routes now through Sunday, Dec. 1, due to a favorable long-term weather forecast.
