The buzz of construction can be heard in parts of downtown Buffalo as major economic development kicks into high gear. The Mayor promises the city's future is on the rise.

"The Buffalo of the future is going to be vibrant. The Buffalo of the future is going to have a growing population.

Mayor Brown proudly boast the construction boom that is occurring in several areas downtown.  He is certain Buffalo's waterfront transformation will turn it into one of the "most sought after" waterfront destinations in the country.

"The Medical Corridor is our future. Over the next four years more than 5,000 jobs are projected to be created," said Mayor Brown.  "We are working right now to capture many of these new employees as residents of the city of Buffalo."

Roswell's president and CEO Dr. Donald Trump is confident the city will help grow around the cancer center and medical corridor so they can attract the right workforce and make downtown a livable community.

"There will be many, many more people in this area, and they will need services and support, and living arrangements.  I'm confident the community will provide those necessities and the city will facilitate it," said Trump.

Mayor Brown pledges there will revitalized neighborhoods and new housing nearby.  Brown says it's an "exciting time of progress" in the city of Buffalo
