The Buffalo Niagara Partnership, the region's business advocacy group, has named Dottie Gallagher-Cohen as its next president. The selection was approved by the Partnership's Board of Directors Tuesday morning. The Buffalo News reports that her appointment will be officially announced Wednesday.
Gallagher-Cohen is currently the president and chief executive officer of Visit Buffalo Niagara, and is a two-and-a-half year veteran of the Partnership's board.
She will succeed the retiring Andrew Rudnick, the president of the organization since it was founded in 1992. Rudnick will retire in June.
