New public art project to inspire transit riders

El Museo

El Museo says it is excited to share a public installation of artworks by four local artists at the Utica Metro Rail Station in Buffalo.
The artwork will be on display until Dec. 30, in an effort to "inspire transit riders and beautify the unique space."

The works will be unveiled Friday at 5 p.m. by the artists themselves: Obsidian Bellis, Bleu-Ruby Daniels-Taylor, Tyshaun Tyson and Imani Williamson, "all of whom have been influenced by their experiences growing up and taking the Metro in Buffalo."

"Your Utica Station” was made possible in part by a micro-grant from the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus and support from the Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority and Lamar Advertising.
