A local theater company is celebrating women’s history month. WBFO’s senior reporter Eileen Buckley says O’Connell and Company has created a special ‘Diva by Diva’ performance to mark the 100th anniversary of Women’s Suffrage in New York.
“Well it’s pretty exciting - well March is also Diva’s birthday. We turn 18-this year. We have our right to vote now!” declared Mary Kate O’Connell, artistic and executive director at O’Connell.
Mary Kate O’Connell is artistic and executive director at O’Connell, the company she founded. The new show opens Thursday evening at the Park School in Snyder. This performance is titled “Diva by Diva: A Celebration of Women!”.
