If Shakespeare himself didn't say that, Shakespeare in Delaware Park did, and hours after having their sound equipment burgled by varlets, they were back up and running with an all-woman production of THE MERRY WIVES OF WINDSOR. Peter went back, as he said he would, for a second night, and found the story easier to follow and also thought that the secondary characters had grown into their parts. The Buffalo team of Marisa Guida and Philip Farugia have developed a coming of age story called PRETTY FUNNY about a young girl named Genny who is given advice by the 1950s TV star and comedienne Imogene Coca best known for her role opposite Sid Caesar on "Your Show of Shows." It opens next Wednesday at MusicalFare. And, down at the Chautauqua Institution, NOISES OFF, beautifully produced, continues at the Bratton Theater through July 16.
