Theater Talk: LOUISIANA BACCHAE thrills at Red Thread; HAMILTON previews at WNED studios

Red Thread Theatre's presentation of Robert Waterhouse's LOUISIANA BACCHAE, based on the Euripides play, sets the Greek classic in the mysterious bayou backwaters, the land of gris gris and voodoo with a very sensual depiction of Dionysus (played by Greg Howze) and his Bacchae cult. Note: no admittance under the age of 18; see below for location details. Meanwhile, if you'd like to know more about the musical HAMILTON and the times it describes, then come to the WNED studios this Saturday, October 1st, at 1:30 p.m. to preview a documentary "Hamilton's America!" and enjoy some live performances from local dancers, singers, and actors. Visit www.wned.org to reserve your seat. Space is limited.
