Sunday marks the return of Free Admission Week at the Albright-Knox Art Gallery. Director Janne Siren says the first free week in 2015 "was a huge success." Siren says most people in Erie County have not visited the Albright-Knox recently.
"One of the things that we are trying to do through various forms of community engagement is to share with the citizens of Erie County what they have in their art gallery. It is your gallery. It is our gallery. We are all co-owners of this institution," Siren said.
The director also said that free admission is a way for the Gallery to express its gratitude to Erie County residents for their support.
The free week runs April 17 through April 23.
